I was just reading about Kaiser on Allpar, a brand I admittedly know next to nothing about. I was just noticing some of the interesting bodywork for the 50's. There's the now ubiquitous kink in the C pillar, the dip in the belt line in the rear door, and (something I'm not sure I've seen elsewhere) a widow's peak over the windshield. Other photos show that some Kaisers also had a widow's peak over the back window.
Upon closer inspection, the dip appears to be more visual trickery with chrome trim and creased sheet metal than an actual dip.

If you look closely, the car you posted has the "Darrin dip" in the top of the rear window. Here's another angle of the same car of the same year. It's subtle, but it's there. The Special models (your pics and the above are of upscale Manhattans) didn't have the wrap-around backlight, and the "Darrin dip" was more pronounced.
And you're right. The belt line "dip" is just an optical effect with chrome trim. But it still looks like a "dip".

Yes, I did notice that. Your pictures shows the "Darrin dip" better though. I didn't know how to describe it other than a widow's peak.
These are pretty neat looking cars. I like the taillights.
The WRX clearly stole its hood scoup from this design. j/k
